Q: The exchange I am sending to TDEx from shows that my transaction completed, why hasn't any funds been credited to my account in TDEx?
A: There are three steps for transferring blockchain assets, i.e., posting a transaction to blockchain, blockchain confirmations, crediting funds to TDEx account.
The first step as posting a transaction to blockchain:
A withdrawal marked as 'completed' or 'success' on an exchange does not mean that the transaction has fully processed to the receiving exchange – it simply means that the transaction was successfully posted to the blockchain.
The second step as blockchain confirmations:
Once a transaction is on the blockchain, it will still take a variable amount of time to confirm and post to the destination exchange. Different blockchains require different amounts of 'confirmations' before a transaction is verified. Sometimes blockchain congestion causes delays in processing your transaction.
The third step as crediting funds to TDEx account:
If confirmations on blockchain are done, your deposit will arrive in your TDEx account.
1. If confirmations on blockchain are done and deposit does not arrive in your TDEx account, please contact our support and provide your TDEx account information, type of cryptocurrency, and transaction ID (TxID)
2. If your transaction shows ‘unconfirmed’ on its blockchain, you should wait for the transaction to be processed on the blockchain. Once it is included in the blockchain, it will begin to produce confirmations.
3. If you have transferred to TDEx from another exchange but not received a TxID, please contact customer service of that exchange.
Q: How do I follow the transaction status?
